So I am like so many others--Anxiously Anticipating Outlander Season 3. Season 3 is reported to air sometime early this year with no actual date set. I have re-watched Seasons 1 and 2 each time I am more delighted with the wonderful knits that appear in each episode. My favorite, of course is the shawls that Claire wears in many episodes.

She wears it as a wrap. She ties it in the front. She wears it over her cloak in the winter months. I have so enjoyed creating my shawl pattern inspired by the ones she wears. They have been so popular on my site that for the time being that is all that I have been knitting.
Another absolute favorite is the chunky cowl scarf that she wears nearly in ever episode of Season 1.

Some of the other beautiful knits that you will see in Seasons 1 & 2 are the shrug that Claire wears while in the garden with Glenis.

Her fingerless mitts make appearances in many scenes as well.

The ladies in the series are certainly not the only ones wearing knitted pieces--Dougal MacKenzie wears a felted grey hat. There are socks, caplets, hats and so much more I could go on and on! The knits are endless and amazing. I for one can't wait to see what Season 3 brings.
